I have been attempting (and sometimes briefly failing) to go gluten free. For a variety of boring, personal reasons - that I won't go into here - it just seemed like it might be the right thing to try at the right time.
And while going gluten free is not always easy, it IS a good chance to explore some recipes I might not have otherwise put in my repertoire. Like flourless chocolate cake (ingredients pictured above), short ribs (my dad would be proud), and the whole collection of other things I've been stashing away over on Pinterest.
So far so good (I feel great!) but it's not always easy (I miss you, bread! beer! and pastry!). Thankfully I really love vegetables and other non-wheaty things, too.
